Plot

A flock of ducks flies across the sky, when Flyhigh collides into them, provoking the birds to attack him. His slightly tattered cape drifts to the ground. Gutsy, riding his motorcycle, discovers the cape. He puts it on and figures out that it makes his outfit look even better. He gets back to riding motorcycle as his new cape blows in the wind.

Gutsy arrives at a stadium filled with a cheering crowd. Hippy plans to take a photo, but Taily's tail and Kendall's antlers are in the way of his shot. Gutsy takes one nice glance at his cape before riding his motorcycle down a ramp.

The stunt goes great until Gutsy passes through a flaming hoop. His cape catches fire, so he tries blowing it out, only making it worse. His motorcycle goes over a bump, causing the cape to go over his face. Blinded and burning, Gutsy drives into numerous traffic cones, one flying into Taily. His motorcycle hits a wall and smashes to bits, one of its tires hitting Kendall. Hippy is pleased to now have a clear view.

Gutsy is sent into the air and his cape, still on fire, falls off. It lands in a puddle of oil from the motorcycle's gas tank. Gutsy, Hippy and the rest of the crowd are killed in a fiery explosion. Splendid happens to be nearby when the burnt and blackened cape blows in his way. The superhero puts it on and goes for a flight. Unfortunately, the cape gets pulled into a plane engine and pulls in Splendid.

Be suited to your style.

3. Kendall is smashed by a tire.
4. Gutsy, Hippy, and generic tree friends die in an explosion.
5. Splendid is shredded by a plane engine.

Trivia

• Originally in the spot of this episode was a planned sequel for A Case of the Virus, which is now claimed to be a joke.
• This episode was going to be called Cape Goat, but it sounds too similar to Escape Goat.
• Splendid's death mirrors Syndrome's demise from Pixar's The Incredibles.
• Nobody survives this episode.
