Plot

Lumpy is seen playing golf at night. He swings his ball so hard that it flies into a dark wooded area. Lumpy decides not to go after it because of how scary the woods are. Deep in the forest, the Headless Horseman tries on a jack-o-lantern head, only for Lumpy's golf ball to smash it to bits. Angered, the Horseman goes to search for a new head.

Jack wanders by the edge of the forest, when he hears a ghostly horse whinny. He turns to find the Headless Horseman and his big black horse looking down at him. The Horseman targets Jack's head, sending him on a wild chase after the pumpkin-headed creature. Jack flees through the thick woods in hopes of losing sight of the Horseman, but the red glow from his horse's eyes indicate he is in hot pursuit. 

In a clear patch, Sir Gron practices swordfighting with a dummy he made of twigs. Jack suddenly races by, followed by the Headless Horseman, whose horse tramples Sir Gron's body to pieces. The Horseman briefly gets off his horse to fit on Gron's head. Gron seems to admire his new body, but he is ultimately cast aside. The Horseman then picks up Gron's sword before continuing the chase.

The situation becomes even worse as the Horseman can now slice branches and trees with the sword. Jack tries to run faster, but the phantom equestrain catches up and manages to slice off Jack's head. His body is left aimlessly running. Meanwhile, Needle and Thread meet up with Sir Gron. Needle offers to help by stitching him back together. Thread, of course, is reluctant.

As the Horseman fits on Jack's severed head, Jack's mind is taken over by the phantom's. The only problem now is that the head keeps falling off. Luckily, Needle comes by and stitches the head onto the Horseman's neck. With that, he rides away. However, Thread's wool was still connected to the stitching, and as Thread pulls back, the Horseman is yanked off his horse's back with only the reigns to hold onto. The horse unknowingly kicks its rider repeatedly with its rear hooves. 

Sir Gron has a strange encounter with Jack's headless body, while Thread now gets dragged along by the horse. His head gets caught by the underbrush and eventually pulled off. Jack's body tracks the sheep's head and fits it on, much to Gron's horror.    

Deaths

1. Jack (on the horseman's body) is kicked to death by his horse (or arguably, he died when his mind got taken over by the Horseman, who in turn was killed by his own horse).
2. Thread's head is ripped off.
