Nuckelback is the 21st episode of Creepy Cryptid Friends.
Episode Roles[]
Starring[]
- Nuckel
- Nuckel's rider
Featuring[]
Plot[]
Nuckel tends to his crops one morning. However, he accidentally destroys them with his breath, as well as a few nearby trees, to the horror of Nymph. All of a sudden, Nuckel feels something growing out of his back. He removes his cloak to discover a little creature attached to his backside.
The creature picks up a rope and whips Nuckel with it, leading him to run as his "rider" enjoys the free ride. Meanwhile, Floppy is out hunting monsters yet again. Nymph sees her and turns into a bush to avoid being spotted. Nuckel dashes by and his breath causes Nymph to wilt. She looks pale and zombie-like when returning to her original form.
Floppy sees the nuckelavee with a pair of binoculars. Using a fishing rod, she catches the creature on Nuckel's back, eventually ripping it off. Floppy marvels at her catch, only to die when the creature breaths on her. Nuckel is happy to be rid of the creature, despite that there is now a gaping hole in his back and he is losing blood. He falls off a ledge into the sea, poisoning the water.
An unconscious Fiji washes ashore and Nymph attempts to revive him through mouth-to-mouth. But since she inhaled Nuckel's breath, she passes it on to Fiji, who shrivels up as a result. Nymph coughs and then faints dead. The rider comes crawling to the beach, rips Fiji in half, and attaches itself to Fiji's fish torso.
Deaths[]
- Floppy is killed by the breath of Nuckel's creature.
- Nuckel bleeds to death.
- Fiji and Nymph die from Nuckel's breath (Nymph passes it to Fiji).
Injuries[]
- Nymph is sickened by Nuckel's breath.
- The creature is torn off Nuckel's back.
Trivia[]
- Nuckelavees in actual mythology are depicted with man and horse qualities, resembling a man whose upper torso is attached to a horse's back. The creature completes Nuckel's resemblance to what he is based on.
- This is the first episode of Creepy Cryptid Friends' second season to be made, despite it not being the season premiere.
- The title may be a reference to the band Nickelback.
- Fiji has a featuring role despite only appearing at the end.
- If Nuckel's rider (as the creature is called) doesn't count, nobody survives this episode.
